developed in collaboration with nicklas skovgaard, esben weile kjær, and arken museum for samtidskunst, the project was conceived at the intersection of fashion, art, and exhibition-making.

rooted in nicklas skovgaard’s distinctive aesthetic universe and esben weile kjær’s sculptural exhibition bright future, we created a capsule collection that translated the exhibition’s visual language into wearable pieces.

the collection consisted of upcycled slips and t-shirts, reworked with bold graphic prints derived directly from esben’s sculptures on slip dresses, connecting back to the nicklas skovgaard universe. each garment was hand screen-printed in copenhagen, resulting in subtle variations and one-of-a-kind expressions that emphasize tactility, process, and individuality.

the project illustrates the artistic dialogue between two creative identities, with fashion as the medium and merchandise as an extension of the exhibition.
