FLYING ICON BAGS (2022) concept, creative direction, & design

this project was developed as a conceptual branding exercise focused on reviving a nearly forgotten piece of copenhagen fashion history.

the original flying a bag once served as a recognizable cultural marker in the city, instantly identifying its wearer as part of a specific moment in early-2000s fashion culture. by revisiting this symbol, the project explored how collective memory and visual codes can be reactivated.

as an homage to the iconic red bag, we created our own reinterpretation — the flying Icon bag — transforming a nostalgic reference into a contemporary branding object with renewed relevance.
